Artists

Whether our artists live at one of the five Human Development Centers (HDCs) in Arkansas, with a caregiver or loved one, or attend a day treatment program, each artist is unique, hardworking, and extremely talented. They are crafters, jewelry makers, wood workers, painters, designers and so much more. We’ve had over 170 artists from the HDCs through the years and currently have 14 private or community artists. When you buy from The Blue Umbrella, these are a few of the faces to whom you are helping to give a sense of pride, confidence, and source of income.
